Internet Marketing ideas: Porcupine Marketing, Bum Marketing, and more!

Whew, this has been quite a busy week at the 5BaD-plex.

My weekly project isn’t near complete and it’s Friday already, but that’s mainly because of a problem with a certain article directory, more on that later after it’s resolved, as surely it will be.

Then Matt Levenhagen unleashed a monster new version of his Campaign Blasting Guide, which I had to review and recommend to my readers, since Matt was kind enough to give a temporary discount (only through March 17th), so time was of the essence. Since I’d been trying to pull a special deal off for almost 6 months, I had to jump on it.

And then, another deal I’ve waited for for a couple months came to fruition. This is another biggie. Many readers will know James Jones, from Emergency Cash Generators, and many other sites, he’s one of my readers, and responsible for sending over 300 customers to me in a couple weeks time, so I know he has a loyal following.

A couple months ago, James let me preview his upcoming Porcupine Marketing videos. I was blown away.

Porcupine Marketing? What’s that, I’m sure you’re asking. Well, you’ve heard of Bum Marketing, a term coined by Travis Sago (another of my readers, I’m glad to say), and Travis came up with that phrase, from what I understand, by saying he could take any bum off the street and teach him or her how to make money within a couple weeks time, by writing and distributing articles. Neat stuff. Travis gives his course away for free here:

James’ Porcupine Marketing is not about how to take a porcupine off the street and teach him how to make money. But …

It goes a bit beyond Bum Marketing in showing how to use free tools to find hungry markets, using other free tools to help you create articles, and then what to do with those articles.

And above and beyond that, James gives away with his course a “terms of desperation” list, which I remember buying something similar as a WSO on the Warrior Forum several months ago for at least double the price.

Terms of desperation is a list of root words that indicate that a searcher is desperate for a solution. Take the root words, expand them a bit, find a product to fill the need they’re desperate for, and you have what James calls a “micro niche market”.

For example, use a root word like “cure”. Cure what? Common cold? Baldness? Fear of heights? Thousands of possibilities await micro niche marketers. Or porcupine marketers.

I’m probably giving too much away, and I can’t do it justice.

James has allowed me to offer Porcupine Marketing at a special price for a short time, only $6.00. You can’t go wrong. It will be the best $6 investment you make this month, I guarantee that. If you don’t agree, I’ll personally your $6 in full.
If nothing else, you’ll get a kick out of learning what porcupines have to do with article marketing. You can see that video for free on the Porcupine Marketing page.
