Want to get off to a fast start in earning 5 bucks a day? I can't promise any specific results, it will depend on your efforts and marketing methods, but I can tell you that other readers have successfully promoted "5 Bucks a Day" as affiliates. The e-Book is sold through Clickbank, and we pay a 50% commission for all sales. Clickbank deducts a dollar plus 7.5% for their share.

One affiliate sold 35 copies in 2 days, and reported a 5% conversion rate, which is very high. Another reported a 22% conversion rate, absolutely phenomenal! I read the emails that both sent to their lists, both were done very well in review format. The affiliate with the higher conversion rate most likely had a more targeted list, but he also did a follow up email a couple days after the first contact. That may have made a difference.

Other affiliates are promoting using Google AdWords. There may be competition there, but I assure you that as long as affiliates are promoting it on AdWords, I personally won't, leaving sales generated through that method to my affiliates. I appreciate your efforts and won't get in the way.

Personally, regardless of which method you choose, I recommend that you do it in a review format, either in the email, or in a landing page that you go to from your AdWords ad. The best way to promote any e-Book is to read it, determine what you personally like about it, and use your own language to write up your recommendation. Another tactic that will help is if you throw in a bonus for purchasing through your link. That way, someone who purchases will be less likely to "hijack" the link by replacing your affiliate ID with his or hers. If you've been doing Internet Marketing for a while, I'm sure you have something on your hard disk that you can offer, just tell the reader that after purchasing, they should forward the receipt to you, and you'll send them the bonus. Then, go to your Clickbank accounting page, and verify that you got credit for the sale.

Once your traffic reaches our site, two things happen. First, we have an optin box (not a popup), that asks the visitor if they want more information. If they subscribe, but do not purchase at that time, we send followup emails every three or four days encouraging them to make the purchase. If they make the purchase at the later date, you will still earn your commission, assuming the Clickbank "cookie" is still intact (not cleared by the user, or overwritten by another affiliate sending them to our page, as the last cookie takes precedence on Clickbank transactions).
