Internet Marketing ideas: If you want to earn, you have to learn

January 16th, 2010 · No Comments

As an Internet marketer you know that there’s more to building a
successful online business than just building a site or blog and
hoping for the best.

They say that all you need to know can be found online for free,
but even if that’s true, there are still a lot of IM’ers that are
making buckets of money selling courses about this, that, and the
other, every day.

It’s all so overwhelming, isn’t it? Often you don’t even know
what you don’t know, so how can you find it? Who do you believe
and trust? Where do you start?

I’ve been accumulating and disseminating information for going on
3 years now to people who belong to Earn1KaDay, ICG, Daily Seminar,
and with other methods of communication, such as this email list.

Now it’s time to get all that accumulated information, and much
more, out to a much larger audience.

So… I’m proud to announce a new site: “Learn One Thing a Day”
http://www.learnonethingaday.com

The theory behind L1TAD is that if you don’t move forward, you’re
moving backwards. You have to learn something every day about your
craft.  In other words…

If you want to earn, you have to learn.

Each day, members will get access to one lesson about an Internet
marketing topic of general interest. Typically the lessons are
either videos or audios (but a few might be reports). The typical
video or audio will take on average 20 minutes to consume (some are
shorter, some are longer). There will be no overwhelming “lump” of
information dumped on you that you never get out from under, as
is the case in so many membership sites.

The lessons will come from a wide range of IM experts in their
fields. The seminars from Jason Fladlien and Robert Plank that
were part of Daily Seminar will be included inside L1TAD, as well
as video courses, audio interviews, webinar replays, on a wide
range of topics, from a number of well known and not so well known
experts.

Some larger courses will be broken up into “bite sized” chunks, so
for example, if I roll out a 7-video series on list building, the
videos will be posted to the blog, one per day.

You’ll be able to download the daily videos or audios, and where
transcripts already exist, they’ll be provided for download also.

Once you’ve been a member long enough to view a lesson, that lesson
will always be available to you, and searchable inside the blog.

In other words, unlike some other membership sites, I won’t take
away last month’s content that you might not have had a chance to
download yet. Once you’ve been a member for a year, for example,
you’ll have continual access to a huge library of information, all
about Internet marketing, all still available for replay any time
you want.

I’m even breaking apart some well known and valuable products that
I have resell rights to, and putting them into the site. Be
prepared for some nice surprises.

All this without breaking your budget.  The price is only $27 per month.

Just try it for a month, if you’re not completely satisfied in the
value, just cancel and ask me for a refund. I can’t make it any
more risk free than that, can I?

After I purchased Daily Seminar, I listened to every single seminar
that Jason and Robert produced, at least once. It’s unbelievable,
and difficult to quantify, the positive effect it had on my skills
and income, but I am now far more confident in areas that I was
unskilled at in the past.

That’s my goal for members of Learn One Thing A Day, to enable you
to grow your skills and income, one day at a time, 365 days a year.
I already have about 2 years of evergreen content ready to go.

Yes, evergreen content. You won’t have to worry about tactics that
work today, but not 30 days from now, or that worked in the past
and not today. You’ll be learning skills that you can use, build
on, and continue to profit from for years.

Heck, there were 165 seminars at Daily Seminar alone, so there will
be no shortage of things to learn.

SEO and Traffic: Twitter: How to use it for business

July 9th, 2009 · No Comments

Last week I ran a webinar with my friend, Ron Davies, where he spent about 90 minutes explaining the difference between Twitter followers and Twitter listeners.

Yes,he has close to 50,000 followers right now, and he showed me how I could get that many within a couple months if I wanted to, but the point is, why would I want to?

What I really want is people to follow me that view me as someone to listen to, not just as someone in a pile.

So Ron explained the difference, how to get people to listen to you, how to find JV partners using Twitter, and lots of other cool things, but especially he showed us how to look professional on Twitter, so that if somebody of influence decided they might want to do business with you, they would make a fovorable decision.

Internet Marketing ideas: Webinar Replay – From 5 Bucks a Day to Earn 1K a Day

June 24th, 2009 · No Comments

I just uploaded the recording of a recent webinar I did, which I’m pretty happy about. If you’ve always wanted to know more about the 5 Bucks a Day strategy, or what my Earn1KaDay insider’s club is all about, this is for you.

Watch the webinar ==> From 5 Bucks a Day to Earn 1K a Day

On the webinar, with co-hosts Robert Plank, Jason Fladlien, and Michael Gunn, I explained the 5 Bucks a Day strategy, a wide assortment of project ideas, and take people inside the Earn1KaDay insider’s club to see some typical success stories, our business models, and more.

No pitch involved. Well, actually there was a coaching offer at the end, but you can ignore that because it’s now closed. This is just solid information that you might enjoy.

Internet Marketing ideas: 7 Minute Article Secrets

April 16th, 2009 · No Comments

So many people gravitate to writing articles to make money online, and for good reason. First, it’s generally easy, if you have a good grasp of the language, and don’t mind putting it down into coherent sentences.

Second, there are so many opportunities. You can review products that you get paid to promote. You can submit articles to directories to get traffic to your sites. It’s probably the easiest way to get listed well on the search engines. Even blogging is writing articles, some shorter than others, some longer.

Some people write articles for others that don’t want to, don’t have the skill to, or don’t have the time to. Those people are generally called ghostwriters, and it’s a very common thing to do, which completely surprised me years ago when I found that out.

But how much income can you realistically make writing articles? If you’re writing articles to get traffic, the more you write, the more traffic you’ll get. If you’re writing articles for others, the more you write, the more income you’ll receive. So it comes down to productivity.

Regardless of how well you can write, if you can write one article a day, you won’t get rich, but you’ll do better than someone who doesn’t write at all. If you can do one an hour, you’ll do much better.

Let’s analyze this a bit. Since writing to get traffic to your site, or to an affiliate merchant’s site, contains huge variables as far as how much you’ll earn per article, let’s say that you’re writing for a client. Typically, if you write 400 to 500 word articles, which is average, you can probably earn about $5 each. A little less if you want to be very competitive, a little more once you establish a customer base that loves you and is willing to pay higher rates. But let’s say you can earn $5 per article.

So … if you write 2 articles an hour, including researching a topic that you aren’t an expert in, will earn you $10 an hour. How does that sound? To me, not impressive, to be honest.

To “get a raise” from that rate of pay, your only choice, other than to work more hours every day/week, is to write faster. Be careful, though, that your quality doesn’t go down, otherwise you’ll lose your customer’s loyalty.

How would you like to research and write an article in 7 minutes? At that rate, you’ll be making around $40 an hour (8 articles per hour would be your speed). Much better, right?

Sounds impossible, right? Not so. Jason Fladlien started as a ghostwriter, and developed those skills, which he’s making available to you. Difficult to master? No, not really. The package includes a short report, a series of videos, and some bonuses, I would say within an hour or two after purchasing this package, you’ll be writing faster. That’s a nice quick return on investment, I would say.

Internet Marketing ideas: DailySeminar.com, an almost daily seminar session

March 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

I recently acquired another membership site, DailySeminar.com

The site was originated by Jason Fladlien and Robert Plank in December 2008.  Their promise was to add a “mini seminar session” each, every week, an interview every week, a bonus product every week, and a review of the week’s activities every Friday.  Saturday and Sunday were meant for rest. :-)

When I found out that the content for all of 2009 was finished, and that they were considering selling the site so that they could move on to new challenges, I told Jason that I was interested.  Long story short, we negotiated quickly and I’m now the new owner.

I do have an agreement with Jason and Robert that they’ll still be around to answer any questions members have, and they will be providing new content for the site in 2010 (as mentioned, everything promised is already done for 2009).

What’s changing, for the better I believe, as that I’ll be transcribing the 165 videos and allowing members to download those PDF’s.  I’ll also be seeking out other guest speakers to provide their specialties on video.  And some other surprises are sure to surface before things settle down.  It’s all good, I think members are in total agreement about that.

Would you like a sample of the type of content these guys have produced?  I thought you’d never ask.

One session that I specifically asked Jason to provide a video for was “How an Internet Marketer Can Make a Difference in Someone’s Life”.  He knocked that out quickly, and it’s scheduled for December release to members, but you can watch it now here:  ==> How an Internet Marketer Can Make a Difference in Someone’s Life

I also took a random topic that Robert did, I think it’s due for rolling out officially in October, and want to show you what he’s capable of:  ==> Super High Impact Frontends

If  you like those 2, just think, you’ll get access to several dozen immediately (from December 2008 until now) upon joining, and 3 more ever week, plus bonuses, plus more surprises to come.

Internet Marketing ideas: Time Management For Internet Marketers

March 6th, 2009 · No Comments

What do President Obama, Donald Trump, the Pope, Oprah Winfrey,
Jason Fladlien, and you, all have in common? Keep reading and it
will become very clear.

I recently recommended Jason Fladlien’s 48 Hour Product course.
I expected it to be a runaway best seller, but even then I wasn’t
prepared for the stampede we had. Cool, I was right about that one.

And I think I’m going to see the same thing happen again today,
because …

I gently twisted Jason’s arm and told him my readers love his
products, and they want more. And so he’s allowing me to offer …

Internet Marketer’s Time Management Course

In a hurry to beat the crowd? You can get it here:
==> Time Management For Internet Marketers

Last time I said money likes speed. In other words, the faster you
can create products, the faster you can get paid. And that’s true,
obviously. But there’s one more part to the equation. How do you
maximize your time, especially if you have other things going on in
your life?

Like a job. Like family responsibilities. Like other projects.
Like unexpected challenges. Like all the other things that take up
your precious hours and stress you out.

Don’t you think you’d be less stressed, and happier, if you could
somehow accomplish more than you seem to be able to, in the same or
less amount of time?

People often say to me “I don’t have time to do this and that and
the other”, and in the back of my mind I say to myself “but the
President of the U.S., Donald Trump, the Pope, and every other
leader that has a thousand things to do every day, and followers
that constantly demand their time, all have the same 24 hours, and
they seem to get things done”.

Remember, you and I have those same 24 hours, a new opportunity
every day.

Now sure, they have people they can delegate to, but in many cases,
the buck stops there, and they have to make maximum use of the same
24 hours that you and I have, they don’t get an extra allotment,
not even the Pope. :-)

So the thing is, how do we make the most of our time, so that we
can get our Internet marketing businesses running full speed ahead,
while still balancing the rest of our lives and careers.

Jason Fladlien isn’t as famous (yet) as the President, the Pope, or
Oprah Winfrey, but he does have time management down to a science.
You’ve seen how he turns out products. You may have read or heard
of his 7 minute article product, where he shows how to write
articles in, yep, 7 minutes.

Or how he creates products in 48 hours.

Lately he seems to be launching new products every week or less.
He creates his own products. He does his own sales letters, his
own emails, his own autoresponder series. He’s in demand as a
coach. And yes, he has a life outside of IM, where he gives
quality time to his family and friends. Not only that, he’s
dealing with the recent tragic death of his 8-year old brother to
cancer, which hit him and the rest of his family like a ton of
bricks.

I’ve seen first hand how Jason created a year’s worth of content
for DailySeminar.com in less than 3 months, that’s 52 video
products and 52 interviews with his partner Robert Plank, most of
which could, and might, be released as stand alone products in the
future… while launching other products at the same time.

I shouldn’t need to try to twist your arm to sell you IM Time
Management, because as a dime sale product, the price is insanely
low. But I am because I want you to have it, and I want you to have
an advantage over other IM’ers that don’t “get it” (either the course
or the value of their time). Get the time management course here.

There was another time management course that came out recently, I
see at this moment it’s sold over 400 copies in a week and it’s
priced at $37. I bought it. It’s good, very good. But relative
to what’s contained in Jason’s course, it doesn’t hold a candle to
it.

Inside Jason Fladlien’s IM Time Management course, you get over 4
hours of videos. You get a 22 page reference guide that will be
your reminder document when you get off track, so that you don’t
have to watch the videos again. You get 7 worksheets for 7
different concepts and personal development traits that you’re
taught. You get companion mp3’s to each of the videos so you can
listen on your mp3 player if you prefer.

You get the original webinar where Jason first conceived of the
product, he spent over 2 hours with a pilot group, got feedback
(all good), refined the agenda, and created the rest of the
content. It includes several people on hot seats with Jason using
their actual problems and challenges and solving them on the spot.

You get another bonus, this one might be worth 10 times the cost of
the entire product alone, if you’re in the position most beginning
IM’ers are, with a job that takes up most of your time. It’s
called “Day Job Liberator”, which explains how you can manage your
time if you only have 1 to 2 hours a day to devote to Internet
marketing. If that’s you, don’t miss this course on time management.

Jason did a follow up webinar after the course had been out for a
while, with customers that joined DailySeminar.com early in its
existence. The customers that purchased the original version of IM
Time Management didn’t get the followup webinar unless they joined
DailySeminar, and there’s no way you can have access to that 1 hour
and 38 minute session either….

Unless you purchase through my link. Yes, Jason is selling resell
rights licenses to others soon, but you won’t get that bonus when
you purchase through them. In fact, not even Jason will offer you
that bonus. In fact, not even Jason CAN offer you that bonus. I
guarantee that, difficult as it may be to believe.

So in actuality, I could be greedy and jack up the price of IM Time
Management. It’s a good course that’s been selling for $37 for
months. With a bonus that’s worth at least another $27 that you
can’t get elsewhere, even if you purchase it from the source
(unless you join DailySeminar.com for $47 a month).

But you know I won’t do that. I’m starting the dime sale at a
single digit price, which increases by a thin dime after every
sale. If you value your time, you won’t waste any more in going
here, because those dime increases do add up fast:
http://www.1kad.com/time

Tell me truthfully, what would it be worth to you if you could
double or triple your productivity, and get your projects done and
making money for you faster, easier, better? What’s an hour of your
time really worth? Compare that to the one time cost of Jason’s
IM Time Management Course, and tell me it isn’t worth every penny,
even if you had to pay that cost every day (you won’t).
