5 Bucks a Day

… an Internet Marketing strategy that works!

Internet Marketing ideas: DailySeminar.com, an almost daily seminar session

March 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

I recently acquired another membership site, DailySeminar.com

The site was originated by Jason Fladlien and Robert Plank in December 2008.  Their promise was to add a “mini seminar session” each, every week, an interview every week, a bonus product every week, and a review of the week’s activities every Friday.  Saturday and Sunday were meant for rest. :-)

When I found out that the content for all of 2009 was finished, and that they were considering selling the site so that they could move on to new challenges, I told Jason that I was interested.  Long story short, we negotiated quickly and I’m now the new owner.

I do have an agreement with Jason and Robert that they’ll still be around to answer any questions members have, and they will be providing new content for the site in 2010 (as mentioned, everything promised is already done for 2009).

What’s changing, for the better I believe, as that I’ll be transcribing the 165 videos and allowing members to download those PDF’s.  I’ll also be seeking out other guest speakers to provide their specialties on video.  And some other surprises are sure to surface before things settle down.  It’s all good, I think members are in total agreement about that.

Would you like a sample of the type of content these guys have produced?  I thought you’d never ask.

One session that I specifically asked Jason to provide a video for was “How an Internet Marketer Can Make a Difference in Someone’s Life”.  He knocked that out quickly, and it’s scheduled for December release to members, but you can watch it now here:  ==> How an Internet Marketer Can Make a Difference in Someone’s Life

I also took a random topic that Robert did, I think it’s due for rolling out officially in October, and want to show you what he’s capable of:  ==> Super High Impact Frontends

If  you like those 2, just think, you’ll get access to several dozen immediately (from December 2008 until now) upon joining, and 3 more ever week, plus bonuses, plus more surprises to come.

You can join here: ==> Join Daily Seminar

Internet Marketing ideas: Time Management For Internet Marketers

March 6th, 2009 · No Comments

What do President Obama, Donald Trump, the Pope, Oprah Winfrey,
Jason Fladlien, and you, all have in common? Keep reading and it
will become very clear.

I recently recommended Jason Fladlien’s 48 Hour Product course.
I expected it to be a runaway best seller, but even then I wasn’t
prepared for the stampede we had. Cool, I was right about that one.

And I think I’m going to see the same thing happen again today,
because …

I gently twisted Jason’s arm and told him my readers love his
products, and they want more. And so he’s allowing me to offer …

Internet Marketer’s Time Management Course

In a hurry to beat the crowd? You can get it here:
==> Time Management For Internet Marketers

Last time I said money likes speed. In other words, the faster you
can create products, the faster you can get paid. And that’s true,
obviously. But there’s one more part to the equation. How do you
maximize your time, especially if you have other things going on in
your life?

Like a job. Like family responsibilities. Like other projects.
Like unexpected challenges. Like all the other things that take up
your precious hours and stress you out.

Don’t you think you’d be less stressed, and happier, if you could
somehow accomplish more than you seem to be able to, in the same or
less amount of time?

People often say to me “I don’t have time to do this and that and
the other”, and in the back of my mind I say to myself “but the
President of the U.S., Donald Trump, the Pope, and every other
leader that has a thousand things to do every day, and followers
that constantly demand their time, all have the same 24 hours, and
they seem to get things done”.

Remember, you and I have those same 24 hours, a new opportunity
every day.

Now sure, they have people they can delegate to, but in many cases,
the buck stops there, and they have to make maximum use of the same
24 hours that you and I have, they don’t get an extra allotment,
not even the Pope. :-)

So the thing is, how do we make the most of our time, so that we
can get our Internet marketing businesses running full speed ahead,
while still balancing the rest of our lives and careers.

Jason Fladlien isn’t as famous (yet) as the President, the Pope, or
Oprah Winfrey, but he does have time management down to a science.
You’ve seen how he turns out products. You may have read or heard
of his 7 minute article product, where he shows how to write
articles in, yep, 7 minutes.

Or how he creates products in 48 hours.

Lately he seems to be launching new products every week or less.
He creates his own products. He does his own sales letters, his
own emails, his own autoresponder series. He’s in demand as a
coach. And yes, he has a life outside of IM, where he gives
quality time to his family and friends. Not only that, he’s
dealing with the recent tragic death of his 8-year old brother to
cancer, which hit him and the rest of his family like a ton of
bricks.

I’ve seen first hand how Jason created a year’s worth of content
for DailySeminar.com in less than 3 months, that’s 52 video
products and 52 interviews with his partner Robert Plank, most of
which could, and might, be released as stand alone products in the
future… while launching other products at the same time.

I shouldn’t need to try to twist your arm to sell you IM Time
Management, because as a dime sale product, the price is insanely
low. But I am because I want you to have it, and I want you to have
an advantage over other IM’ers that don’t “get it” (either the course
or the value of their time). Get the time management course here.

There was another time management course that came out recently, I
see at this moment it’s sold over 400 copies in a week and it’s
priced at $37. I bought it. It’s good, very good. But relative
to what’s contained in Jason’s course, it doesn’t hold a candle to
it.

Inside Jason Fladlien’s IM Time Management course, you get over 4
hours of videos. You get a 22 page reference guide that will be
your reminder document when you get off track, so that you don’t
have to watch the videos again. You get 7 worksheets for 7
different concepts and personal development traits that you’re
taught. You get companion mp3’s to each of the videos so you can
listen on your mp3 player if you prefer.

You get the original webinar where Jason first conceived of the
product, he spent over 2 hours with a pilot group, got feedback
(all good), refined the agenda, and created the rest of the
content. It includes several people on hot seats with Jason using
their actual problems and challenges and solving them on the spot.

You get another bonus, this one might be worth 10 times the cost of
the entire product alone, if you’re in the position most beginning
IM’ers are, with a job that takes up most of your time. It’s
called “Day Job Liberator”, which explains how you can manage your
time if you only have 1 to 2 hours a day to devote to Internet
marketing. If that’s you, don’t miss this course on time management.

Jason did a follow up webinar after the course had been out for a
while, with customers that joined DailySeminar.com early in its
existence. The customers that purchased the original version of IM
Time Management didn’t get the followup webinar unless they joined
DailySeminar, and there’s no way you can have access to that 1 hour
and 38 minute session either….

Unless you purchase through my link. Yes, Jason is selling resell
rights licenses to others soon, but you won’t get that bonus when
you purchase through them. In fact, not even Jason will offer you
that bonus. In fact, not even Jason CAN offer you that bonus. I
guarantee that, difficult as it may be to believe.

So in actuality, I could be greedy and jack up the price of IM Time
Management. It’s a good course that’s been selling for $37 for
months. With a bonus that’s worth at least another $27 that you
can’t get elsewhere, even if you purchase it from the source
(unless you join DailySeminar.com for $47 a month).

But you know I won’t do that. I’m starting the dime sale at a
single digit price, which increases by a thin dime after every
sale. If you value your time, you won’t waste any more in going
here, because those dime increases do add up fast:
http://www.1kad.com/time

Tell me truthfully, what would it be worth to you if you could
double or triple your productivity, and get your projects done and
making money for you faster, easier, better? What’s an hour of your
time really worth? Compare that to the one time cost of Jason’s
IM Time Management Course, and tell me it isn’t worth every penny,
even if you had to pay that cost every day (you won’t).

Internet Marketing ideas: Creating a product the simple way

February 25th, 2009 · No Comments

Here’s a system.

For the sake of obviousness, since we’re Internet marketers, let’s assume you want to create an info product (eBook, video, giveaway report, whatever)

Find a niche you want to be in. Decide on a product you want to create. Those steps are discussed at length anywhere and everywhere, but you can look at magazine racks, amazon best sellers, ClickBank marketplace, etc.

Once you’ve made that decision, go to Google books:
http://books.google.com

Search around a while, previewing interesting books that relate to your subject that you want to write the next great eBook or create a video about. Come up with about 10 or so chapter titles. You can also decide at that point the 3 main points each chapter should be discussing.

Write.

Or even better, if you can afford about $100 to $200, have it written for you. Here’s how.

Each chapter will have maybe 3 main thoughts that you want to expand on. Outsource 3 500-word articles. When they come back, combine the 3 and edit it down. Bam, you have a chapter.

The other 9 chapters, more of the same.

Put in a summary, resources section, table of contents. Bam. You have an infoproduct.

Do you want a video product on top of that? Take the chapters, and the 3 main thoughts in each one, and make a PowerPoint slide, or mind map, out of each one. Record yourself discussing each topic. Bam, you have a video to upsell the eBook buyers to.

It’s not that difficult.

Need other ideas about creating quick infoproducts? Get Jason’s book:
http://www.1kad.com/48HourProduct

If you go the route of outsourcing the chapters, I would recommend getting multiple writers involved. That way, you have different perspectives on the subject, though it might require more editing to make it sound like one voice. Still, it saves you the worry about your book showing up elsewhere in the future, if you know what I mean.

Plus especially if you put a bid out on eLance or one of the other job sites, you’re flying under the radar. You’re asking for articles, not an eBook on a subject, so potential competition won’t think twice about it.

And, last but not least, buying 30 500 word articles will probably cost you less than buying a 15,000 word eBook.

And, some of the 30 articles can come from rewritten PLR possibly.

Internet Marketing ideas: Formula 5 Review

January 12th, 2009 · 2 Comments

I posted a fairly lengthy review of the Stompernet Formula 5 product over on my wiki page here:
==> Formula 5 Review

I had a look at a lot of the upcoming material, and generally I’m not a fan of these big launches. This one is different. Coming from my perspective as an offline businessman that now makes his living online, following the five steps in Formula 5, and taking advantage of just 5 or more of the 238 action modules, your business can easily double, your profits can easily quadruple, in less than a few months.

I’m going to be doing this with my warehousing operation, and I’ll report back when I have tangible data to report. I expect to improve profits by at least 25% within 30 days, but we’ll see.

Actually, it could be done sooner, but I’m focusing this week on my trip to Orlando, where the Earn1KaDay seminar is being held Friday through Sunday. Seats are still available:

Internet Marketing ideas: 125 Ways to Go Green and Save Green

December 6th, 2008 · No Comments

I picked up a report yesterday in a blazing hot niche, and decided to add it to my dime sale site.

The title of the report is “Go Green and Save Green“.

It isn’t often that I mention niche reports through my Internet marketing channels, but this one is special.  Who wouldn’t want to learn 125 ways to save the planet, and at the same time learn 125 ways to save money while doing so?

I read the book quickly, there are some great tips in here, not all of them are obvious ones, at least not for me.  I plan on sharing this with my wife for going green around the house, yard, and office, not to mention on the highway.

As a dime sale item, the price starts low and increases after every sale, so I hope you notice this one early on.  And … if you are an Internet marketer reading this, it comes with resell and PLR rights, and a whole bunch of goodies that are mentioned on the sales page: ==> Go Green, Save Green

Internet Marketing ideas: Instant Dime Sale Script and Affiliate Program

December 4th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve been using the Instant Dime Sale Creator script for quite a while, but it drew my attention recently to the fact that I haven’t been giving it the attention it deserved.

It jogged my memory a couple weeks ago when it stopped working properly. It was making the sales, but I noticed that the prices weren’t incrementing like they should have been. So, I started digging into the code, and doing some testing. It’s always frustrating when things are working all along and suddenly stop when you’ve done nothing.

After several hours, I isolated the time when the script stopped working, and that it had to do with a particular PHP command that was failing. It seemed to coincide with the time that my host upgraded to PHP version 5, so evidently there was some incompatibility.

So it was a quick fix after that. And since it was fresh in my mind, I decided to load a new product into it and see what would happen.

My latest product was Jason Fladlien’s Instant Expert course. It really is a terrific and motivational course that can turn anyone into an expert on whatever they set their mind to, and like most of my dime sales, whenever the license allows, I set the starting price low ($4.95 in this case for a course worth easily $47 to $97).

In less than a week, with very little promotion to a small list, I racked up over 100 sales, starting at $4.95 and increasing by .10 after each sale. Not bad.

Many of the sales were made by affiliates that were promoting the course, and I expect that it will continue for a while, it’s something that would help anyone at all, not just Internet marketers.

That success prompted me to gather all my other dime sale items, and start listing them on one page so that others can find them more easily, that page is here: ==> Dime Sales

Hopefully better organization will help affiliates keep better track of what they can promote, and help customers find the available items more easily. We pay out normally 60% commissions on referrals, but there may be occasion when the payout is less, or more.

If you’d like to see what we have available, or see what we have, there’s a link in the right column to our dime sales under the Our Links heading.

Internet Marketing ideas: ScreenSteps – My new favorite product development toy

November 27th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve been playing with ScreenSteps, a product that advertises “a documentation tool for those that don’t like to do documentation”.

To me it’s all of that and a lot more. As soon as I came across this product, I knew I had to have it.

My first playing around yielded this: ==> Earn1KaDay Tutorial produced with ScreenSteps

I showed that to my Earn1KaDay members and one question was how long it took me to become proficient enough to do that. Oh, about 5 or 10 minutes. :-)

Here’s the drill. You decide what you want to talk about. You organize those thoughts into what we call lessons. Then you start typing a lesson. When you get to a point where you want to show an image, you go into screen capture mode. You capture a portion of your screen (you can see all the images I captured in the sample I linked to above). You can highlight things on the screen shots. Then type some more, do another screen shot, until done.

When all the lessons are done, you assemble them into a manual. Then export the manual to either html or PDF (or to a blog post if it’s short enough). In my example, I exported to html, it downloaded to my desktop, I uploaded to my server, and you see it. No fiddling with html or css or anything.

I can see ScreenSteps as being useful in producing eBooks as well, that’s my next plan, to figure out what I want to teach, and use it to do that.
